- RESERVE HISTORY
This coal reserve was acquired from McDonald Land Company in May of 1995. The property was operated under a mine called M&H, which operated three deep mines and a preparation plant, producing high volatile metallurgical coal. Under International's ownership, this coal is being processed through the Hampden preparation plant and is being loaded on the NS and CSX railways.

This mine is located at Rockhouse in Mingo and Logan Counties, West Virginia.

100% owned by International Resources, a sister company of Logan & Kanawha Coal.

SURFACE FACILITIES
- COAL PREPARATION PLANT
Coal will be transported to the coal preparation plant by a reclaim belt. The heavy media preparation plant will be capable of washing 600 raw tons per hour. It will be equipped with a heavy media vessel, heavy media cyclones, and spirals.
- CLEAN COAL STORAGE
After the coal is prepared and impurities removed it will report to the clean coal storage for loading into trucks for shipment to the river or directly to the customer by rail. The storage capacity will be approximately 30,000 clean tons.

- TYPE OF MINING EMPLOYED
The drift mines will be operated by contract miners or mines operated by International. The #2 Gas seam is the largest block held under this reserve. Two mines will operate single section mines, two work shifts per day in the #2 Gas seam. Production will be approximately 5,000 tons per day. The Cedar Grove seam will support a single section continuous mining unit for two production shifts per day. Clean coal production will be approximately 2,200 tons per day. There is a large block of Alma seam which can be developed as the markets allow in the future.
